My first venture into art happened at the age of 12, when I was lucky enough to be taken by writer Adela Rogers St. John to meet Disney animator and animation consultant, Eric Larson, one of Walt Disney’s “Nine Old Men”. He told me to keep drawing, study art and go for it! After earning a B.A. in Fine Arts from Cal State Northridge, I began working as a professional freelance illustrator, designer and writer. My personal connection with the music and movie industries gave me the opportunity to work on a number of fascinating projects. I have also found working with non-profits to be highly gratifying. Currently, I am the principal illustrator for the estate of Monkees star, Davy Jones, the non-profit set up by his daughters, The Davy Jones Equine Memorial Foundation, and Art Director for the support group, Davy’s Angels.
I work in a retro classic, yet whimsical style that fits seamlessly in both the digital and print world. If you want to stand out from the crowd and work with a creative who knows the value of communication throughout a project, hire me now!
